Nmap

Nmap, o abreviere pentru Network Mapper, este un utilitar care permite administratorului de sistem si altor persoane curiase sa scaneze retele de mari dimensiuni pentru a determina ce servici sunt accesibile printr-un firewall .

Nmap permite multe tehnici de scanare, cum ar fi UDP, TCP connect, Tcp Syn (pe jumatate deschis ), atac in salt la proxy Ftp, reverse-ident, ICMP ( ping sweep), FIN, ACK sweep, XMAS Tree, SYN sweep, Protocolul Ip si scanare Null.
